Today, more than ever, the pharmaceutical sector is continuing to expand. This is also due to the far-sightedness and support of companies such as Farcoderma S.r.l., established in 2006 from a clear business project of its founders based on their twenty-year-plus experience in the industry. As a close observer of the healthcare sector, Farcoderma S.r.l. has now won a sizeable market share in this field. Following its constant and fast growth and its business expansion in Italy and abroad, a new manufacturing site was built in Torre Pallavicina, close to Bergamo. More recently, Francesconi Architectural Light was contracted for the lighting design of the exteriors and adjoining spaces of a new pharma site, i.e. a leading-edge design and manufacturing plant for medical devices, food supplements and cosmetics that also houses an important R&D department and a quality management system to control all stages of production. In this new lighting project, impeccable results were achieved through the invaluable help of the landscaper Samuele Rocco from the Rocco S.r.l. firm of Desenzano del Garda. In particular, an exemplary chromatic balance was ensured by LED solutions with warm colours and a high colour rendering index highlighting the vivid foliage of the trees and the angular geometries of the building. The Francesconi Architectural Light products have fully met the customer's requirements through customised, ad-hoc solutions in the finishes and fixing supports. Luminaires combine well with the designed green spaces and are only seen by the naked eye when the light illuminates the building. An overwhelming poetic feel pervades the entire project. KOS, in Floodlight version, creates an accent-lighting effect on trees and casts their shadows on the main walls of the building - resulting in impressively huge shadowgraphs. PIN poles - i.e. parallelepiped-shaped luminaires with essential geometries and a totally concealed fixing system - mark the pedestrian access routes in a balanced and clear way. Latest-generation LEDs make this luminaire model a leading-edge product with minimum consumption, maximum light output and total absence of glaring light pollution, thus ensuring overall luminous uniformity. The recessed MINIROUND and FLEA downlight series mark the perimeter of the building and the main entrance, creating an imaginary dotted line of light on the ground with significant chiaroscuro effects on the walls obtained through special optics.
