In a deep inlet of the north-eastern Sardinian coast that hosts paradisiacal tongues of golden sand and a fragrant vegetation of olive trees, myrtle and shrubs typical of the Mediterranean maquis is the new lighting design project by Francesconi Architectural Light for the "Sintonia" Restaurant, luxurious room equipped with a lounge area located in the town of Porto Pozzo, in the sub-region of Gallura, which is also accessed by sea through a renovated marina.
In this special context, Francesconi Architectural Light products gave prominence to the project and the company has provided, thanks to expertise and experience, solutions to precise design requirements, such as defining the right color temperature of the LED, the modularity of flows luminous, the special finishing processes of the products and the use of 316L stainless steel for optimal resistance to the salinity of marine waters. The multiple complexities of the project have seen the commitment of the Francesconi Architectural Light company and the Lo Cicero agency declined on several fronts, calibrating new architecture, materials and landscape geometries. The lighting of the piers and walkways has been realized with recessed MINIROUND recessed light projectors that exploit the complex system of side-emitting optics and ensure exclusive lighting on the walking surface without glare and light emissions upwards. A special painting treatment realized with nanoparticle technology guarantees a very high resistance to the salinity corrosiveness.
The lighting of the totems and staircases was largely satisfied by the new family of FLEA steplights in 316L stainless steel finish with narrow beam optics and SMILE marker lights with asymmetric beam optics aimed at illuminating stair treads without causing glare effects. with the possibility of dimming the light beam according to the hours of the day. The use of the EGO projector in 316L stainless steel with built-in driver represented the ideal solution to illuminate the tensile structures and green areas, thanks to the wide range of optics, from narrow to wide, which allowed to obtain soft and diffused effects for the gardens and trees and concentrated light beams with regard to tensile structures, as if to highlight the tension angle points of the sheets.
The UOP bollard family, made with a particular anodic oxidation treatment and characterized by minimal geometries and an asymmetric light beam exclusively oriented to the walking surface, was used for lighting pedestrian paths.
