Architectural project: STUDIO MAFFI PROGETTAZIONI of SARNICO
A new project exalts the picturesque shores of Lake Iseo. In Sarnico, in the province of Bergamo, the City Hall has requested the construction of a building to host the various sports associations equipped for water sports in the area: kayak, canoeing, sport fishing. Therefore Water as a primary element, natural and wild form, in relation with man through playful sports activities. Passionate young and old, boys and adults, everyone can find in this place the conditions that support their passion for water sports. The building project of 250 square meter surrounded by a green area of over 5,000.00 square meters was designed by the Maffi Progettazioni studio in Sarnico, with the collaboration of the Sole Process Manager Arch. Gian Pietro Vitali, who studied and designed an architecture that integrates harmoniously both with the lake context and with the presence of prestigious buildings protected by the Superintendence of Cultural Heritage, such as the near Villa Faccanoni by the architect Giuseppe Sommaruga and the adjacent church of Stella Maris. This project doesn’t regards construction only, but has also affected the reconstruction of the lake wall for a length of about 70 mt. The lighting part was really important for the success of the project, thanks to the Francesconi Architectural Light solutions offering great emphasis to the rigorous geometry of the structure. The lighting project had the target of having a limited but effective lighting both of the new building and wall access in the park, in full respect of the landscape context in which the intervention was set. For the walls of access, have been installed the family of recessed luminaires Flex c, characterized by an optical system that guarantees the total absence of glare and at the same time the illumination of only the walking surface. For the building have been used some Miniflea recessed luminaires that, thanks to their ultra-compact dimensions but with the precious technical content (dimmability, possibility of different types of beams) gave prominence to the columns, turning into a sort of "luminous supports". The Minislim family was used to illuminate the external walls, giving graceful soft and diffused light effects in contrast to the geometric lines of the walls. Also for the interior spaces Francesconi Architectural Light solutions have found context, thanks to ceiling lights Antha family, used both in classic LED versions and in emergency lights.
Another important project for the Francesconi Architectural Light company, to support the community in the meaning of comfort and sports culture.
